We would need several seasons of double-digit wins, plus a BCS appearance, to be a serious contender for SEC membership when it goes to 16. Even then it would be a longshot.

In this day and age all you really need is attendance and tv watching fan base

The potential of having a weekly SEC presence in Dallas is more valuable than the current SEC presence in Starkville. We are currently on par with at least 4 SEC teams.

not unlike all the SMU fans that think the SEC might consider SMU because we would deliver the DFW arket
