Word is Patterson was talking about SMU during spring ball, making this game TCU's Super Bowl.

As for your comments on buying respectability, when you pay a coach over 2 mil, you should expect to be competitive. One would certainly expect not to be blown out by non top twenty five teams.
If you look back to when Jones went to Hawaii from the NFL and San Diego, taking one of the lowest paying jobs in the country at the time, puts in perspective his priorities and indicates to me his value of money placing it below his personal callings.

If you only expect to be competitive for two million then you maybe you should cough up five million and shoot for a BCS buster?

I would imagine that Jones probably appreciated the money recognition but he still wears the same old sweatshirt and black shirt.

Or maybe its because SMU is the last team to beat the Frogs. That could be it too....

maybe Pachall should be a weatherman-its looking more and more like SMU won't have a home field advantage tonite. So what are guys going to do instead tonite? Shopping, nice restaurant, dancing or stay home to watch UT play?

and has recruited very poorly for $2M and hired his little NFL buddies - it's like a NFL . pension program. All we ask is a little effort which he doesn't seem to want to do. Larry Brown is 70 working his tail off so far.

Larry Brown will get the job done. Rick Hart will get the job done. JJ, not a prostitute's prayer.

they are playing Patterson's sound bite on ESPN radio all morning...saying this is a big game for TCU because of their conference and they need this one to make sure they get 6 wins and bowl eligible

You are such a tool. Admittedly, the truth hurts. But- its not the people on PF that need to be griped at for not caring enough. It's the clowns on campus. Maybe there's a good sig ep party tonight

You should have just stopped at tool.
