We prefer to beat up on a walk on kid who is doing the best he can. Our staff is not responsible for recruiting punters or kickers as they may actually help special teams, but take up a schollie.

Ty Cummings is an excellent kicker, you are correct.
There are many ranking services. Rivals and ESPN primarily use Kohls Kicking rankings and Matthew has only attended one of their camps versus many others. Jamie Kohl runs an excellent program, and his staff are the ones that helped select Matthew for the 2013 International Bowl. (USA vs the World)

Matthew McCrane has worked with National Camp Series and ranked #3 in Nation in kickoff/FG's combined.
