Re: Here we go Again
Of course if you really want to feed the rumor mill, if it is true that Arkansas has already made a deal but are going to wait until after the season, I can only remember one time in recent history that a coach was wrapped up prior to season end, and then no word did leak out. Lots of other names kept coming up and then at season end, bam, the surprise came out. HMMMMMMMMM.

He does resemble their mascot.gostangs wrote:coaching in the SEC >coaching in the big 12. Patterson going to arky is a definite possibility - and can you think of a better fit for wearing a plastic pig then Patterson?

I'd take Petrino in a heartbeat - or haven't you heard of Hawaii volleyball?ReedFrawg wrote:Why would anyone want Petrino to represent his/her school??? And Chizik has only shown that he can win with Cam Newton. No thanks. Dykes, Kingsbury, Morris would be good choices...bring someone with fire and a chip on his shoulder.

I believe that was part of the reason he did not get the job at ASU.

IIRC, he has already turned Arkansas down once before.gostangs wrote:coaching in the SEC >coaching in the big 12. Patterson going to arky is a definite possibility - and can you think of a better fit for wearing a plastic pig then Patterson?
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Don't see why he would right now especially. He's finally in a big conference and reaping the rewards of the hard work he's done the past decade.ponyboy wrote:I just can't imagine Patterson leaving TCU any time soon.
