if we can get rid of the jog to the coach, and get a two back formation inside the ten (maybe even with a tight end) then we will be getting somewhere. next year maybe even a hurry up.

lets send June tapes of La Tech and A&M and let him study -up.
Amazing we didny implement any of last years UH ideas from Sumlin -
Obviously the hurry up causes problems - what a great hire for A&M - i am sure Phillips is pissed he didnt go with

Per June, we only use one running play, so the zone read must be what we have been using all along (just without the option of the QB keeping)

Ha! Now we're complaining that we can only get 225 on the ground.

No, we are complaining about June's lack of innovation on offense. If we had more than one running play, we might be less predictable and be able to get more yards on the ground AND in the air.

It's one running play with a number of variations. It's not a single defined running play.

Too bad we don't have two running plays with a number of variations.

We do actually. One with Zach, one with GG. JJ is mistaken.

The Hurry-Up, No-Huddle: An Offensive Philosophy by Gus Malzahn

Or we could bring in this guy to teach JJ the Fly Sweep: http://tucsoncitizen.com/usa-today-spor ... gold-mine/

Are you saying that you know more about coaching football than JJ?

No, just saying JJ has forgotten more about football than JJ ever knew.

You're missing the point. How good could our running game, and consequently our offense, be if we had more than 1 running play?
