My wish is CT, since Louisville is the greater loss to the BE. With Louisville and Cincinnati anchoring the East and Boise State and San Diego State in the west, the Big East remains top dog in outside the Top Four Super Conference, comparable to a weaken ACC.
I still feel ACC will be hit again by Big Ten, e.g. Georgia Tech, for media market and good academics. SMU is only appealing to ACC, if they are further raided by Big 10 and/or SEC.
Besides, we are only in play at the end of this process. Big Ten is the only conference which will drive more dramatic challenges. PAC12 will not add schools, Big 12 does not need to add and dilute their payouts and the SEC is fine.
How SMU ends up in the ACC...bear with me
