East: UConn, Cincy, Temple, ECU, USF, UCF, Memphis

West: SMU, Houston, BYU, Boise, SDSU, New Mexico, UNLV

That leaves Bowl games in Memphis, NYC, St Pete, Boise, NM & Las Vegas to compete for

If you cannot get BYU, exclude ECU. Even if you can get BYU, I might consider leaving out ECU and New Mexico. I think 12 is a better number.

In this case, we are stuck with Tulane since they were invited... Do we really have bowl games in those areas? That's fantastic... I wonder if tie-ins will change given the big east is CUSA. I swear if Hawaii bowl is a tie-in the future I have lost all hope for this team and league

forgot about Tulane...at least there is a bowl game in New Orleans to be considered as well. I like the 14 members if the divisions are regionalized because that can help cut down travel. That way, you can play an 8 game conference schedule with only one really long distance road trip. For SMU and Houston, being in the center of the country, it won't matter but I can't imagine UConn, Temple, ECU and the FL schools being thrilled about trips to San Diego and Boise...and vice versa

Yeah but given that all the schools we are left (granted, wasn't much to begin with) I don't see road traveling fan base to increase for any if these schools. I know there isn't much we can do since as of now this the bet conference available to us... I truly hope Aresco can pull a miracle deal on TV. Also maybe they should cut out conference games so teams don't have to travel coast to coast, that way we can play more OOC.
