I know its not likely, but I would like nothing better than to go to College Station and dash the Aggies National Championship visions right out of the shoot. Losing to us, wouldn't doom them, but they'd have to run the SEC table because two losses is death.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Ags play Alabama the week before us in College Station. Their national title hopes may already be on the ropes by the time we come to town

You're kidding, right? Rutgers, Cincinnati, South Florida, etc. (thank god we don't play Louisville) is lightyears better than CUSA.

Time to stop referencing JJ's salary - it was impressive when he was hired, but it's more middle-of-the-road now, isn't it? There are a lot of coaches making more.

According to this list, JJ isn't in the top 30:
http://www.collegefootballuniverseblog. ... tives.html
(Patterson makes $3.467 million? Damn!)

Look here, and he's 40th - not that extreme:
http://www.philsteele.com/blogs/2012/Mar12/DBMar15.html

And I don't see this as running away from Baylor. It looks more like running away from 4 BCS conference games, and Baylor happened to be the one we could get out of. Sure, it would have been better if it were A&M, but if they put up a stink and Baylor was willing to bow out of the contract, so be it.
Don't bring up JJ's salary?! Uhh Ok. I did not see anyone on that Top 30 list that lost to Tulane and Rice.

Very disappointing to see SMU tuck their tails & run & hide from Baylor. If you are a D1 school, play a D1 schedule. Sends a terrible message IMO.
Embarrassing.

It's the June way. We only need 6 to get to Hawaii. 1-3 is closer than 0-4.

When you recruit at a non-BCS level, you need a couple of easy wins...not sure where the other is coming from

I don't get it. There isn't a school in the nation that plays four BCS non conference games. Oh my God! We are running from Baylor??!!! Nonsense. We are playing arguably the best team in the country at their place and we decided to downgrade another game to allow for one, i say again, one game next year not against a BCS opponent. This board is chock full of muppets.

Muppets?? really? Your argument would hold water if we had beaten any BCS teams in the JJ era other than Washington St, Worst team in D1, and Pitt. Not only have we lost to the others, we were blown out by all of them. After we lose to A&M, Tech and TCU by 2 TDs, please have an excuse ready.

You sure about that? I can name a dozen or so off the top of my head.
