Re: Memphis names new starting QBGutsy call by coach Fuentes. The Texas Tech transfer QB Jacob Karam played well last year.
Re: Memphis names new starting QB'Bout to say.
Karam probably should have stayed at Tech.

Paxton was hurt most of his senior year and then blew up in the FL All-Star game and won MVP honors. UCF offered and he was Florida's backup. He's 6'5" and apparently the redshirt year helped. I thought Karam was going to be the guy. Last year, he completed 176-of-274 passes for 1895 yards and 14 touchdowns and 3 picks. His 64.2 pass completion percentage set a new Memphis season record.
