Could it be that those 2 and 3 star recruits and walkons react better to Pattersons intimidating style of coaching and threats whereas 4 stars don't respond as well? His highest rated recruits and transfers have performed the worst while his walkons and lesser recruits seem to overachieve. Maybe that is why he is trying to change his woody hayes out of control image. Paranoia?
