Which team are you referring to?


Oregon St. To say they were "highly ranked" is a little misleading. They were ranked, but #24 is not "highly" ranked. And like I said, just because they were preseason ranked, it doesn't mean they were good as evidenced by their 5-7 record that season.

We start every year 1-3 because the talent level is low, we could try "something new" but if the talent level stays low then we'll just be replacing Texas P5 losses in full stadiums on national TV with G5 losses in empty stadiums on ESPN3. Improve the talent level and no one has to be scared of facing relevant competition.

You're right that we need to try something new. "Recruiting" and "preseason preparation" would be good places to start.
