News flash: it WAS a Thursday night. Sam Houston State is not as much of a 'suitcase college' as it was when I was there...yes, there are still students who go home on the weekends to Houston and other areas nearby. And, yes...Bomar is hurt (knee)...out for the season with surgery scheduled soon...expected to return for spring practice with full recovery for his senior year. Attendance at SHSU games is still better than what SMU draws.
Ignore him. He's been on this kick that a oft-repeated comments about facilities helping recruiting are wrong, so he likes to say that anything negative about SMU football is because we have the most beautiful stadium in the state. Somewhere, he's hoping to find someone who thinks it's funny.
