Re: SMU Liberal Arts Majors: What Do You for a Living?
My son finished from Dedman with political science degree. Also played football. He completed the MMS program at Duke. He currently works as a management consultant in Washington DC. His office is in the same building with SMU liberal arts alum, Ray Washburne.

Re: OT: DMN - Black at SMU
I agree with rgv. I live in Atlanta, and there are several peer schools that make more of.an effort on minority recruitment here. Wake, Miami, Tulane. TCU and Baylor also appear to be making more of an effort for minority recruitment in this area. There are several private schools in this area who ...

Re: OT: DMN - Black at SMU
I've been watching this for a while, and i have decided to take the plunge. My son was a Black student who walked on to the football team. His treatment as a student drastically improved when he joined the football team. He was regularly asked for id while walking around pre football. All of that ...

Re: Report: smart to UGA
I wound agree with that stang. Its generally viewed as the 4th or 5th based recruiting pool in the nation. Atlanta js the recruiting hub of most if the sec and half of the acc. Again there is no excuse for Rocht the o lose to mizzou, tennessee, and struggle with Georgia Southern. I think Herman is a ...

Re: Report: smart to UGA
Herman would have been a better choice. UGAs main problem is offense. Richt didn't adust his offense for mobile qbs. They passed on Deshaun Watson, Nick Marshall, Cam Newton....last year's qb was a grad student from UVA. Poor qb play doomed Richt. Herman develops qbs.

Re: Reports: Herman to UGA
Do you guys think Richt woul consider an AAC post, Like Memphis? It might be a lower pressure gig for him. He looked burned out in the presser today, but he said that he wanted to continue coaching.

Re: Reports: Herman to UGA
I live in Georgia, and this is my outsider view on the situation. Hermann would actually be a great choice for UGa, for one main reason, his offense. He has turned Greg Ward into a world beater. Georgia is full of qb's like Greg Ward, who could never see the field unless they converted to d back or ...

Re: U.S. News & World Report
Good info Coog! As a parent, I was very pleased with my boy's education at SMU. He always speaks of the opportunities he had to be a well rounded student at SMU. He got a chance to play big time football (played against, Johnny Manziel, and RGIII), got a paper published in the Undergrauate Journal ...
