Re: TCU is like a Soddom and Gomorrah
Arrest them on campus, with your own police, you're a private university, you control what information gets out. SMU is notoriously tight-lipped when it comes to releasing information on incidents to the media, because they can be.

Re: 5 Players Failed Feb 1 Drug Test
Sounds like TCU PD is under enforcing. Does it really sound reasonable for TCU to have 30X less pot use than SMU given similar size, income, draw and demographics. Geez, think guys.
I don't understand the income deal SMU kids have about TCU kids being poor white trash. I know you were not saying ...

Re: 5 Players Failed Feb 1 Drug Test
What is our current drug abuse policy for ordinary students at SMU. If you're caught selling, I'm sure expulsion is likely, but smoking dope would seem to me to be something that gets you counseling. There were entire frat houses floating when I was there.

Re: 5 Players Failed Feb 1 Drug Test
Link to football programs drug policies. The Big East is included too. Test positive once and no action is taken for a lot schools. Take what you want from it but if a kid tests positive twice I say suspend for 6 games, I think you all would agree.

If it was a cover up then TCU won't have called the news before the arrests and annoucing it to the public. Everything was wrong but one thing the admin did was not sweep anything under the rug, I can't fault them for that. We wish it wasn't so public but it is what it is.

Re: 5 Players Failed Feb 1 Drug Test
I agree but every football program as drug policy on suspending players. If you test positive once then you get a slap on the wrist = running, but if you test positive twice then you get suspended for 3 to 4 games. I'm assuming that SMU has the same policy, SMU might be different but I'm just ...

Re: 5 Players Failed Feb 1 Drug Test
I know if this was another school we'd have some fun with this and TCU knows that other fanbases talk about this for years. I wanted to say that we appreciate that a lot of you have given Patterson and most of the program the benefit of the doubt about the players being tested. We are very ...

Re: SMU owns the Metroplex
You all had the DP but we went on probation for 3 years, that drained our program into the 90s. We both sucked in the late 80s and 90s. We invested and picked up our program sooner then SMU, that is the major difference.

Re: SMU owns the Metroplex
It wasn't a comeback, it was just a funny comment.
To answer your question, however, SMU is where I played football, so I handle losing so much with my head held high. Hell, I visitied TCU as well. Decent campus, nice students , good facilities. Coach Fran was a good guy as far as the 10 minutes I ...

Re: SMU owns the Metroplex
FIFY, you're reaching when the only comeback you have is grammatical errors. I don’t blame you though, if TCU sucked as bad as SMU I’d look for small battles to fight about. Seriously though, how do you deal with losing so many times?
