I know of at least 5 of those TDs that would have been prevented if we hadn't blitzed 7 men and left man coverage in the backfield. Two in the Rice game alone.

The OC Charlie Stubbs is a Krapthorpe guy but he is not too popular with the Louisville Fans or a segment of the Tulsa fans. Stubbs has a long term experience as an OC at big time programs. He's put up good numbers its hard to understand the anger toward him.

He's running the same defense that he ran at A&M and K-State. Those schools could pull in fast outside linebackers and athletic corners to make teams fear the blitz. We've never been able to truly pull that ...
