Former SMU soccer player on SI.com

Ramon Nunez is listed in a photo gallery as one of the MLS players to watch in '07. No mention of SMU but it's always good to see a former Mustang on a national publication's website.

Best part of the game, other than the win, was seeing Doh, at about the 18 minute mark, getting visibly upset with the five players who started the second half, calling a timeout and subbing for all five in mass, making them stand during the timeout while he talked to their subs who were sitting ...

The order was entered on the 7th; they have 10 days to file a notice of appeal, which is the 17th
Blog,

Can you clarify if it's 10 calendar days or working days? Seems that I read in some article that it was working days. Thanks.

It was a few years before my time but a friend actually saw The Police play there in the Fall of '80.

The place has definitely hosted plenty of diverse events over the years.

I was pretty amazed at the great comeback because I've felt all year long that we are not a very good halftime adjustment team. Props to Phil & his staff!

I too was honored to shake the hand of this amazing person who dealt with tons of adversity but kept fighting through it with pride and grace. I believe he should be in one of the vehicles during the Homecoming Parade on Sat so keep an eye out for him.

ESPN.com Forde Yd Dash

Looks like we've hit the radar screen of ESPN columnist Pat Forde who thinks we have a "Good" chance of getting a bowl bid.

Nice to see a little national press!

The story I heard was that the owner of the corner lot did not renew 7-11's lease but it just happened that Southland owned the land where EZ's was. They just took over their property & then razed EZ's.

I thought the food there was good & was hoping they would reopen somewhere else in the area.

Since it's implied that we're racketeers, is it OK to call my Uncles Vito & Guido in to help get this settled??

I was under the impression that they ruled it a fumble which went out of bounds. I couldn't tell if where it rolled out was much different from where the qb was tackled.

The umpire crew wasn't very clear on several rulings which frustrated my friend & me to no end.

My question is why we were so disorganized in the decision to go for the 2-pts. Kids were running on & off the field which led to our 5 yard penalty. Then we still had to call time out if I'm not mistaken. It was keystone copish.

Luckily it didn't harm us in the end.

Coach Doherty & the rest of basketball team have rented a tent at both previous home games. They have been just north of Cox next to the Engineering School tent.

I would imagine that would be a good place to look for them.
