Klemm, Reinbold and McKnight were certainly the most vocal and visible assistants on June's staff during his tenure here. All three on the offensive side of the staff sort of balance out June's passive coaching demeanor.

I think when Jones was hired he talked more about a 5 year plan. The past two years I do not recall hearing him reference his plan anymore. Even if it changes, he is the leader of the football program and should be creating a vision that players, administration and alumni can follow.

What we all want to see is steady improvement in the program. Last year a win at TCU and then at home against UCF we were getting a vote or two for Top 25 - signs of improvement, then the program took a step backwards and didn't show up for USM, Tulsa and Houston. Recruiting took a dive last year ...

I have at least 4-6 Aggie friends that will buy season tickets just to get tickets to the game in Dallas. SMU should keep the game at Ford and increase season tickets sales.

1 year ago at this time SMU was in the Bottom 10 coming off back to back 1-11 seasons. It would have been hard to imagine anyone picking us in the Top 50 one year later - even the bleacher report guys.

Anyone want to venture where SMU would be a preseason pick for 2011?

why are we comparing SMU to Big 12 Schools - how does our admissions policies compare to C-USA West schools? Even if we had the same admission policies of Texas and ATM, etc. we would still be at a disadvantage to them.

Mrydel is correct, I thought it would be interesting to find out the last time we defeated a team that already had 8 wins. I'm guessing pre-death penalty like the last game of a season in the SWC?
