We are free from the continuous whining of blaming officials for every call that went against SMU, even when the Mustangs were guilty of it.

We are free from ...

Patton, would you withhold a trophy from your little league kid? If you were the coach, would you only give out trophies if you finished first, second or third in the best league? Trophies, like all-district, is just for fun. What does it get you? A college scholarship? If so....

Nice of Don to wave from President Turner's suite last night..........could he not put down his Jim Beam to go down to the field?

Re: Congrats to the band

Thought you guys sounded great, loved the cotton-eyed joe. Something very unorthodox for us, but I thought it worked. Didn't hurt having the dance girls dress like daisy duke, OMG!

Such a difference between our band and TCU's which continues to produce little or no sound year after year. They ...

The Band was great at halftime. They outclassed the purple hoarde...at halftime.

Is it too much to ask that the Band do something after every play?

Or play Peruna more than once after first downs? What was the count yesterday??? Couldn't have been more than 25!!!!

Yes, you're asking too much!
