Re: Emmanuel Sanders to visit with New England Patriots?

Can you blame him? With Hines retiring a couple of years ago and Wallace leaving, he needs to keep his remaining targets.

The papers up here have said that Denver likes him a lot, too, but we're a long way from Denver.

Re: Thursday (7/14/11) 7-on-7 notes

Would have loved to see Davis making that Willie Mays catch. If you're talking about his famous over-the-shoulder catch where he caught it and turned to fire the ball back toward the infield, that's not a play many linebackers can make. Hell, that's not a catch many receivers or defensive backs can ...

On a completely untwisted note, time to clear my Internet history.

Two of the funniest posts I have ever read. Who knew equestrian could be funny?

Outstanding stuff.

Re: PonyFans.com interview with defensive end Taylor Thompson

Forgive me if I'm late to the party on this, but from the lone PonyFan in this corner of the planet, your site — now including your video interviews — are a godsend. Thank you thank you thank you.

As for today's interview, Taylor T looks and sounds the part, doesn't he? Can't wait to ...

Re: Burger wars, re-visited

The implication in the name and sign outside that the place will feature stunning waitresses is a bit generous — scenery isn't bad, but doesn't merit a follow-up visit on its own.
This kind of place seems to be a growing trend. A friend in Denver says there are a couple of places that have ...

I really thought the paper would get better with a new staff this year.

Get over it — they're not going anywhere.
Some battles are worth fighting — some aren't. This is a battle that won't change anything, and therefore is a waste of time and breath.

You guys are crazy.

Nike makes the best uniforms in the business. Of course the dont always hit the mark but overall they are the best. Under armour is second.

Adidas is the worst.

They screwed up the stirpes on our jersey last year, made the pant stripes too narrow and the little SMU on the ...

Put this guy on a defensive line with Marquis Frazier, Margus Hunt, Taylor Thompson, Chris Parham, Evan Huahulu, Torlan Pittman, etc., and suddenly it's a very legitimate, BIG defensive line.

It's SMU Lacrosse, and a successful club sport here at SMU. It's worth bumping as many times as it needs to be. As it needs to be for what? So you can read about the game that you were at (or in)?

I'm not downplaying the sport - I played it, too, and it's a great game. Just thought it was funny ...
