With the reseating in basketball and this atrocious football hire - how long can Rick Hart survive?

I'd take Dykes over Littrell.

My opinion of him has taken a major nosedive the past two weeks for sure.

This football search/hire has just been an embarrassment.

I suppose our search should be more like Tennessee's with one announcement after another about who turned down an offer?

You guys, come on. You know close to nothing of what Hart has or has not done. If anything, the silence we're hearing shows competence from his office. Judge once you know the details of the hire. The coaching carousel went on for a while without SMU being affected. In the last moment we lost our coach, it's an odd place to find yourself if you're an AD but I'm sure after the flirting that happened with Baylor last year with CM, our AD has had feelers out there to multiple people each year. Step away from the computers and wait for an official hire. Then judge away

Sonny has been the guy for awhile. The moment Chad announces he is leaving, Rick and Sonny take the podium which stops the player revolt over Traylor.

Why do you not like Dykes? What do you mean by June 2.0?

This is SMU. There is no fan support and not much support from the school for football, IMO. The school is betting on basketball. The football coaching world knows this
If Dykes is the guy so be It. Be grateful there is a small group of supporters that are willing to fork over 2-3 million a year just to pay for the coaches.

And if it is Dykes, is this Gary helping SMU again? I thought he was done with that!
