Since beating Tech may be a bit problematic this week. I suggest that we use this thread to tell jokes about Lubbock. Such as God had to go, and lo there was Lubbock.

Two Texas Tech fans were walking down the street when they came upon a dog lying on the sidewalk licking and cleaning his groin like dogs do.

The first Tech fan says to the second, "Boy, I wish I could do that."

The second Tech fan replies, "Yeah, me too. But I wouldn't try it."

The first Tech fan asks, "Why not?"

The second Tech fan replies, "Because I'm afraid the dog might bite me."

Not sure if this is a joke or not but my sophomore year i was playing in a lacrosse game vs tech and the field was pretty much a mix of hay and ice. pretty crappy conditions. the air smelled like a port-a-potty and mid game a giant 5 to 6 foot tall tumbleweed started rolling all over the field. it was the first tumbleweed many of us had ever seen and really shows how remote and awful the place is.

What's the difference between Lubbock Texas and a toilet? Once in awhile the toilet gets cleaned.
