Pretty much, no context is given to help the reader understand what those numbers are supposed to mean so it can easily mislead someone into thinking that stars don't matter.

Numbers don't lie. Only UNT is worse than we are. How can we ever compete on the field if we don't even bother to compete on the trail.
Seriously, I am losing hope fast!

socially awkward dude mailed it in the week after beating tcu in 2011 and came to Ford with a less than sellout crowd.
He knew then the job required a marketable coaching personality, not just upset wins.
I give him credit for snagging three and a half more years of paychecks out of it. In most industries, you get canned for that sort of attitude.

Numbers actually do lie, or at least mislead. 1) Coaching matters, i.e. how you develop talent and how you scheme to emphasize your players' assets and skillsets; 2) some staffs are just better at identifying talent.
Having said that, fire June.

Agree with you there, but Texas A&M, Texas, OU, Tech, TCU, Oklahoma State cannot all be wrong. Their talent is markedly better than ours and they prove it with the amount of 3 and 4 stars they recruit and on the field against us.

If you look at the offers lists that the kids that go to those schools have it is pretty good. Pay more attention to the offer list than anything else because they can't really argue with that.

Fire able offense in my book. The idiot said himself that college is better than pro because you have more control over the program and success and failure pretty much falls on head coach. So man up or get out! I'm done with this clown. I gave you 2 years of benefits if doubt after asu and you failed. Goodbye.

Hopefully, this guy is laughing while he is creating this diatribe because I cannot imagine how anyone could get so angry over how someone else does their job. "The idiot..."? "clown"? C'mon, surely you're better than that.

No. It's entirely legitimate. Do you think we should all just be quiet and accept how June conducts himself if we disagree. June has given everyone who thinks he isn't doing his job plenty of ammunition to complain.

Right. Combine coaching and talent and you really have something special.

While emailing Hart may be a direct way to address the problem a more effective way might be to email Aresco. I would think Aresco would be incensed by thoses comments.

I wish June Jones saw Larry Brown's video and digested the quote "I didn't get too caught up in the tradition. I got caught up in the potential." Wins and losses define the program you are, but recruiting defines what you want to be.

Good point, right now our wins and losses say we're a mediocre program and our recruiting says we want to continue being a mediocre program.
