I think y'all can beat UH as Kolb has been pretty scattershot. UTEP will be a test but I'll be rooting for you.

We don't have a guy on the list because we are starting an unknown but highly touted sophomore this year, so I agree with not mentioning us. But next year you can bet that Graham will ...

Again, for instance, Baylor, Big XII, sells more athletic merchandise [online], believe it or not, than Texas Tech and Oklahoma State.

There is simply no possible way that this is even close to being true.

I would bet that Tech sells 4 or 5 times as much merchandise as Baylor, and I would ...

If you ask the average LSU, Bama, Auburn, Florida, or Tennessee fan where TCU is located, they would say "TCWho?"

Only if they're mentally [deleted]. People over here are always bantering about the idea of expansion, however un-seriously they may be, but the simple fact that UH, SMU and TCU ...

It's true, the campus and UP are beautiful. The tailgating is easily the best in the state of Texas, and the stadium is very pretty.

Or having to drive outside of town to purchase libations (hello 'the strip' on Tahoka Highway).

I know it sounds weird to non-Tech folks, but going to the strip is just one more of the unique and fun things that make Tech such a tight-knit and great place to go to school. Your first trip to ...

You're right, Johnson (4*) will be juco, Routt (2*) from Texas City will be a juco, Ward (3*) from Waco may go juco and possibly one other (2*) lineman may go juco. It's good that we have 33 guys, because we'll probably end up right at the limit.

Well, we have 33 now with Marshall and Adam James committing. I know we have 29 spots, but 1 guy is a juco (mohetau) and 2 guys will greyshirt (James and Leong) and it appears that Dan Johnson will head to juco, so that puts us back at 29. It had to be explained to me as well, but we are certainly ...

Actually it's 4 four-stars now, but that's neither here nor there.

It's actually cool, because we still have Taylor Potts, who is a better recruit and our first target anyway. We got a 4 star WR as soon as he left so....

Agreed. Admittedly, TCU is fast -- really fast -- and better than I'd like to admit. However, out of the other 24 teams on that list, if they played on a neutral field, I'd bet on the Frogs against:
UCLA, Wisconsin (maybe), Texas Tech (definitely) and Cal. Oklahoma would beat them in a re-match ...

All very funny comments... but very old and clueless as well. Either way, the fury over one fan yelling "go team" at the stadium is not just insanity but hypocrisy. If there was video of every loud fan at every school in the country, it would pile up like cordwood. This just comes down to people's ...

This is only funny because on TCUs board they act like they are above or better than most BCS schools. Kid dissed them

The average well over 30,000 per game and many SMU fans thought that the MWC would hurt their attendance.

I think you should take a look at their recent season averages. I doubt they are "well over 30,000." Also, they are at their absolute zenith right now and have to tarp off parts of their 46 ...

It also means an instant shot to the credibility of a league that has been the strongest one in the country before this and last year.

Imagine a cotton bowl or Alamo Bowl, Holiday Bowl etc (not like UH would even go bowling) and the pathetic support they would get. Not a fit.

A good turnout for UH is in the high teens or low 20's.

Pretty sure that if you look at their average, it's much lower than that.
