Re: Home & Home with LSU

This is a perfect addition. If we lose, it likely isn't a killer because of LSU's stature among the nation's elite teams. But if we win, and win in a season in which we make a run at the ACC title, this is a fantastic résumé-building game.

I used to like Gruden. If nothing else, this is good exposure, I guess.

Re: Network, kickoff time announced for first 3 games

I guess an 11 AM kickoff will be cooler than 7 PM, but at that time of year, it means kicking off at 96 degrees instead of 99, so ...

Make sure to bring a sweatshirt.

Re: GAME THREAD: MBB at Cal

I don't think Cal can beat us, even without Boopie, unless we beat ourselves.

Teams that press show just how much we miss Boopie.

Re: Chad Morris sighting

June left the cupboard bare, and it took a couple of years simply to get us competitive in the AAC. So, again, he got us moving in the right direction in the conference we were in. Sonny was able to build on what he did to get us to the upper level of the conference. Rhett made us champions.

Doubt it ... but it wasn't that long ago that Hartzell-to-SMU seemed ridiculous, too.

Re: Brashard Smith to play in ReeseΓÇÖs Senior Bowl

Coaches and analysts have compared McFall to Smith, but it would be a mistake to overlook what L.J. Johnson offers.

Re: Final AP Poll

With the step up to the ACC, I really would have been thrilled with any record above .500.
What this team accomplished this year is just remarkable. Can't wait for next season.

Re: ESPN.com: ACC considering championship game change

That suggestion seems better, because the idea of a championship game without the top seed pretty much negates the inclusion of the word "championship," doesn't it?

Re: What a difference 3 weeks can make!

I agree that some are reading it wrong, but I see a different reason: when you're up big (say, when you're crushing TCU or running all over the defending ACC champs), it's risky to put Stone in. What if he goes in and takes a bad hit? Then you potentially lose your real backup quarterback for no ...

They also have a former Clemson offensive lineman named Eric Mac Lain ... written as 3 names.
