Re: Wow! Even Rice Getting Top BCS Transfer

I really think Bailiff as far as recruiting goes is a little bit more competitive than he usually gets credit for under the circumstances which I sense lately have been eased somewhat. I know they certainly have stepped up early recruiting which was non-existent under Harfield. They've got 6-7 ...

Hey, always a good idea to keep an eye on the rest of the conference.

Jackson put us at 13 commitments. 6 have at least one BCS offer, some from schools that we haven't even tried to recruit against before. Ross is not one of the 6, but he could end up being the star. Due to the small senior ...

Now if the band really took a shot at Graham's mother, then they stepped over the line.
They didn't. That's a misrepresentation (surprise!) by some Tulsa fans.

I'm not a huge MOB fan. I don't really think "[deleted]" is funny. But the response by the Tulsa fans is. Some of them want to sue us ...

He never signed any new contract-that's not accurate
This was the Tulsa fans' spin at the time, but it's simply wrong. He agreed to the extension in December and signed it that Monday. He said so himself at the C-USA Media Blitz. That said, I think the Rice community have largely moved on and are ...

Give the Sun Belt Rice and Tulane and it would help both conferences averages.
Anybody who paid any attention whatsoever to Rice's season last year would not say that "everything went right." Among other misfortunes, our QB was injured almost half the season! Also, our OL that is supposedly among ...

Those of you who were making fun of Xavier Webb's 1660 SAT might want to look at Slick's rivals profile.

I don't think we're recruiting him as a QB. From what I've read he projects to FS or WR. And apparently our coaches are very high on him.

Regarding his SAT score, like everyone else's, our standards are somewhat, umm, more flexible for athletes than for most applicants. (Ditto for music and ...

We're definitely going to struggle. Lorenzo Williams, our 2nd-best player, is a senior too. So is Greg Killings, our best big guy, although he's missed the last several games with injury. To top it all off, our home games will be off-campus while they rebuild Autry. I won't be surprised if we take ...

We're #4 in the conference. You should probably be more embarrassed about being swept by #10 UTEP.

I'm certain you must have prognosticated Graham bolting for Tulsa right? If he stays for his second season their class doesn't fall apart before their eyes...
You don't know what you're talking about. [deleted] was our biggest loss, and I gathered he liked Applewhite more than Frodd. No matter ...

That is hilarious. Maybe he'll end up at Tulane or UTEP.

Tulsa need a big class. Frodd runs off players almost as fast as he does assistants.

Patterson and O'Leary are not rising; they have proven their worth. Frodd is not in their league, and a lot of people think even O'Leary is overpaid. He got so much credit for the bowl berth, but Hatfield had 3 teams that were at least as good; the difference was conference tie-ins. Frodd was not a ...
